Horizon Shores Marina is within easy reach of both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The journey time is short and enjoyable.

The Broadwater

South Stradbroke island shields the Broadwater from the Pacific Ocean. The waterways to the south are speckled with smaller islands such as Tabby Tabby, Eden and Kangaroo Island.

Moreton Bay

Towards the north from Horizon Shores Marina is a maze of smaller islands, the larger ones being Russel and Macleay. North    Stradbroke Island protects these smaller islands from the Pacific Ocean.

Pacific Ocean

Access to the Pacific Ocean is by either Jumpinpin Bar (shown top of image in the distance and suitable only for those experienced in bar crossings) or the Gold Coast Seaway located to the south at Surfers Paradise.

Horizon Shores Marina is located halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, just south of Beenleigh.

From Brisbane

From Brisbane take Exit 38 into Stapylton/Jacobs Well Road, follow this road through to Woongoolba and then straight ahead to Horizon Shores Marina.

From the Gold Coast

From the Gold Coast take Exit 49 over the overpass and follow the Pimpama/Jacobs Well Road. Turn into Behms Road which leads to Stapylton/Jacobs Well Road, head towards Woongoolba, turn right at next intersection and you’ve found us.
