Broadwater mooring crises faces boaties

A local skipper says the Gold Coast is facing a dire shortage of mooring facilities to cope with the rapidly growing number of people using the waterways.

Volunteer Marine Rescue senior skipper Chris Leech said the number of commercial and recreational boats using the Broadwater was on the rise but boaties were heading elsewhere to moor their vessels.
