Marina frenzy as business giants join battle for berths.

Australia's top companies in a multi-billion-dollar bidding war for Queensland's lucrative boating marina market, including the 380-berth project at The Spit and the Hope Harbour marina and ferry terminal.

The biggest corporate players are jostling for about 4000 marina berths throughout Queensland after an explosion in boat registrations, particularly luxury cruisers, since 2000.
