For a standard management fee, Meridien Marinas can professionally manage marina berths on behalf of owners, sourcing and managing tenants, distributing rental income and producing income statements.

CEO Meridien Developments & Meridien Marinas
Drawing on
his extensive property development and valuation experience combined with an
MBA from Qld University of Technology, Warwick has lead both Meridien
Developments and Meridien Marinas as the CEO over the past 4 years. Prior to joining Meridien, he held senior
management positions with Mirvac for over a decade in both NSW and QLD and was
responsible for acquisition and delivery of major integrated residential and
commercial projects. Warwick is
responsible for leading Meridien Developments and Meridien Marinas to new
heights in property development and eco-friendly marina management and design.
Adam Fernance
General Manager- Meridien Marinas
Adam joined Meridien Marinas
following a distinguished career in asset management and business development.
His experience includes consulting, franchising and small business as well
as senior roles within firms including BHP, AMP and Westfield.
Adam has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (UNSW) and an MBA (AGSM) and brings
to the Meridien Marinas team a breadth of experience and vision to
deliver exceptional results and strategic planning.
Horizon Shores
Shane Hay- Marina Manager
Shane Hay has been the General Manager at Horizon Shores for nine years and played a central role in the negotiations that saw the sale of the marina to Meridien in December 2005.
A Mechanical Engineer by trade, Shane had his own motor and marine business before taking on the management role at the marina. He also managed the Kingston Park Raceway.
Shane's job as General Manager is now far more exciting as he oversees his vision for Horizon Shores come into reality. When Meridien made approaches to acquire Horizon Shores Shane knew his visions for an expanded and more up to date facility would be realised. Meridien Marinas Horizon Shores is undergoing a $500M upgrade and expansion.
Abel Point
Richard Barrett- Marina Manager
Richard Barrett came to Meridien Marinas Abel Point with more than 16 years of experience in the marina industry. He brought with him a broad range of skills including rafting up vessels, fire fighting, organising boat shows and managing marinas. Born and raised in Vanuatu, Richard feels it was only natural that his calling in life was to work close to water. His role as Manager at Abel Point has proved to be one of the most rewarding points in his career. Richard says he was drawn to the top job at Meridien Marinas Abel Point because of the attraction of the Whitsundays and the chance to work in a marina with such an amazing mix of opportunities.
Port Douglas
Jason Roles- Marina Manager
Jason has a Bachelor of Administration majoring in Tourism. After completing University he pursued a career in the Hotel/Accommodation Industry where he spent 9 years with Rydges Hotels and Resorts in management roles within Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Recently Jason joined Meridien from Stella Hospitality Group where he was employed as General Manager of a property in Palm Cove. With over 15 years experience in Hotel Management and Customer Service Orientation, Jason looks forward to raising the profile of Meridien Marinas Port Douglas leading towards the re-development of the Marina Precinct.
