The Cairns Regional Council has offically adopted the Port Douglas Waterfront Masterplan which will comprise of a cultural precinct, new landscaped gardens, improved sports facilities, new swimming lagoon, upgraded pedestrian boardwalks, commercial fishing wharf, waterfront plaza and extension of rail lines. As part of this materplan, Meridien Marina Mirage Port Douglas will see the re-development of Marina Mirage which will include waterfront apartments and a 5-star world-class marina with over 200 berths.
